• Entry Validation. Sweepstakes entries are validated to ensure that the information is accurate and complete and that all entrants meet the requirements of the Official Rules (e.g. entry frequency, geography, age, etc.)
• Duplicate Validation. Players can be restricted from entering a promotion multiple times based on any criteria such as name, phone number, email address, household, frequency (i.e., once per day), geography (i.e., excluding Florida), age (must be over 18) or any other criteria desired. SweepstakesPros' advanced duplication algorithms make it difficult to thwart duplication validation. For example, adding spaces, changing your apartment number or changing your address from 123 Highland Street to 123 Highland St. will not fool our duplication validation system.
• Security Image. This feature displays a random code within an image on the registration page and asks the entrant to verify the code in order to enter the promotion. This system blocks automated programs and bots from submitting entries into the promotion.
• Audit Logs. SweepstakesPros maintains complete activity logs and audit trails of all entries, validation errors, winners and suspicious activities.
• 24x7 Monitoring. All of our promotions, systems, logs and sites are monitored 24 hours a day 7 days a week for suspicious activity, errors, issues, potential issues and performance.

COPPA & CARU Compliance

All of our systems are compliant with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 (COPPA) and meet the Children's Advertising Review Unit (CARU) guidelines of the Council of Better Business Bureaus.

Automated systems detect child registration attempts. If a promotion has age restrictions, child registration attempts are monitored and future attempts to register are blocked if the child tries later to re-register, falsifying his or her birth date. If children are allowed to participate in a promotion, automated confirmation emails can be sent to parents that can either include a parent permission form (to be mailed in) or a link to an online parent permission form. Parents are also given access to their child's online profile so that they can monitor their child's information and can revoke their child's participation at anytime.

Also, automated procedures can be created so that personally identifiable information can be deleted after a promotion ends to insure privacy is maintained. (Note that while personally identifiable information is deleted from the central database, anonymous customer profiles can be retained so that promotion tracking data is maintained and in depth marketing analysis can still be performed).
